Presentation by Milan - Annual General Meeting

Presenter: Milan Ignjatovic

Location: RUAG Space in Oerlikon
Date: January 19, 2015 – 18:00 h

Summary

Systems get bigger and fatter over time. System evolution is hard to manage unless done systematically using an appropriate architecture, process, method and tools.

For a Product Line, this is of utter importance because an increase in the number of features / products leads to an exponential rise in system complexity.

ESP is based on an invasive software composition technology. Parts are defined as models: static & dynamic, formally & completely. A Product-Part Matrix specifies products in terms of their parts. The Composition Engine uses Product-Part Matrix to build complete product lines. The output is a baseline comprising executable products ready to be tested.
