Open Positions on INCOSE and EMEA Sector Level

The EMEA sector is the fastest growing sector within INCOSE. Meanwhile it is the biggest of the three sectors regarding member count (> 40 %). Five out of the seven biggest chapters belong to EMEA. The EMEA sector is very active and has many chapter over arching activities. The open positions listed hereafter provide the opportunity to influence whole INCOSE and spread the mindset and thinking specific to our sector.

The currently most key positions for which EMEA support is requested are:

  • EMEA Secretary (potential new Sector Director per IW2020).  
    Unfortunately René Oosthuizen has to step down as AD for EMEA. A replacement is urgently requested!!!!
    Candidates needed on very short notice (1 month).
  • Request by Dave Walden for Sector 2 candidates for editors of INCOSE Systems Engineering Handbook V5 (SEH5).  The team of 5 to 6 editors will work on the next version of the INCOSE Handbook.  A representation from EMEA will secure the EMEA perspective on Systems Engineering and its reflection in the new handbook.
    Candidates needed on very short notice (1 - 2 months).
  • EMEA Sector (Sector 2) representative in the Nominations & Elections committee.  With the significant set of to be filled positions on this year’s INCOSE elections, a representative from EMEA is absolutely needed. This person can help finding a balanced slate of candidates that guarantee proper representation from EMEA.  
    Candidates needed on very short notice (1 - 2 months).
  • EMEA Sector representative in the Leadership Opportunity Board.  This position makes sure that EMEA leadership and members are made aware of open leadership positions that need to be filled on Global, Sector and Chapter level.
