End-To-End MBSE approach from SysML system definition to system V&V
The presentation provides a workflow currently in line with the industry methodologies to achieve a fully integrated MBSE approach for systems design and simulation for a landing gear case study. This typical system engineering design starts with the needs elicitation of various stakeholders in a Requirements Management application, followed by the design of systems architecture in Catia Magic using the MagicGrid framework. With the SysML models and System Requirements defined in Catia Magic, we can elicit Software Requirements in Stimulus, producing unambiguous and verified requirements, thanks to Requirements in the Loop Simulation.
In the V-cycle, the next step is Software/ Hardware-In-The-Loop, where the designers can utilize the verified requirements as an observer as an extra layer of verification for the SIL and HIL tests, in line with industry standards such as FMI.
The Landing Gear System of Systems demonstration exemplifies the integration of the Mobility System of System values into the development of a Landing Gear System, emphasizing transition from high-level SysML architecture to In-The-Loop Simulations. This case study has been developed in close to real Customer situation with different teams working in parallel in the same CATIA Magic projects, and collaborating in a single source of truth 3DExperience platform.
